Job: Supply Nursery Nurses, Bold Recruitment

Brief Description: Bold Recruitment is currently looking for Nursery Nurses and Assistants to work in the North-West area.

We currently have clients in that area that are looking to use a lot of supply staff, to cover maternity, sickness holidays etc.

This is a great way to gain experience around studies, adapt and gain skills within different nurseries, and experience working in different backgrounds and environments.

You must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in childcare or equivalent, and have some experience of working in the childcare sector.

Your general duties include: create and develop a stimulating and educational environment for the children to learn in. To form positive relationships with the children. Interact with the parents where appropriate. Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings. To plan, carry out and evaluate daily activities for the children in your room, aiming to provide safe, stimulating and appropriate play and art activities which will promote social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. As a Key-worker you will be expected to observe and write a monthly report on the children in your group. To keep developmental records on your key-worker children. To administer first-aid with a senior member of staff when needed. To attend training and other appropriate courses where necessary, at the Managers discretion as and when required. To ensure adherence to risk assessments. To assist in washing and toileting of children and to teach children to learn personal hygiene. To prepare and serve Nursery meals as necessary. To ensure that the Nursery equipment is cleaned regularly and maintained to a high standard. To undertake any other duties and tasks which may reasonably be required by the Manager/Deputy.
