Job: Turner / Machinist, Temps Recruitment Specialists Limited

We currently have a company who manufacture heat sealing and packaging equipment for the food industry, they have been established for 11 years and the demand for our quality service and range of existing and new products is very strong.

Due to an internal promotion they now require the services of a Turner / Machinist, on a permanent basis.

Initially the work will involve the use of conventional Lathes to produce turned components in Stainless steel, Aluminum and Acetal. Ultimately the role will develop into the use of CNC Lathes.

Predominately the role will be Turning but they would expect the successful applicant to be flexible in terms of using other equipment, i.e. Milling and Drilling Machines, in order to support other departments during busy or holiday period. This is an opportunity for either an experienced time Served or Semi Skilled Turner/Machinist. Standard hours are 8am till 4:30pm and overtime will be required when necessary.
